Just read the 3 articles on deadspin and the one on nielsen report
Obviously she and her buddy are psychopath douchebags, but my question after reading it all is what the hell is wrong with these people? it blows my mind how easy it is apparently to scam people (or to become a paid blogger, apparently)..
you'll send me $500 if i give you my twitter account? ok! sounds good! you'll give me a six figure job if i give you my facebook page? done!

The most likely scenario, after I thought about it, was likely that Sara Phillips ((a real person) doesn't know a lick about gambling and was having somebody else make the picks for her. Whoever it was, ultimately was requiring substantial compensation for keeping up the ruse once Phillips hit the big time.
So rather than own up she tried ripping some people off to keep it going, but maybe not before losing a crapload of money to her own bookie.
Lucky for her, she's a woman, so if she ultimately can cook a little and manage to stay in the kitchen, she can still have a future.

I'm bringing back this thread! I just found out about this whole Sarah Phillips thing from CF. Pretty crazy stuff. You'd think it'd be obvious that you're being scammed but I guess not. Has anyone heard anything since then?
