Great Deadspin Article about an ESPN Writer

The article was a bit anticlimactic, but pretty interesting. I would love to hear some ESPN background on this.

So "she" admits that she isn't the person she says she was, and the whole "I concealed my identity because of future employment" is ********.

All within the last 10 minutes:

Sarah Phillips ‏ @SarahPhilli I'm not deleting my account. I understand if you unfollow. At the end of the day, there are two sides to every story.

I'm not trying to win anyone over, but I realize I compounded the problem by not commenting.

I never wanted to be in sports media. It just happened. I concealed my identity so I wasn't a "gambler" to future employers.

This could get a lot more interesting, I hope.

I think the lesson is if it sounds too good to be true than it probably is.

You mean an email about my free Ukrainian Bride who was bringing me cheap, quality jerseys, and promised me free viewings of the Cyclones whenever they are on ESPN3 is probably a lie!!
