He's had 2 wins in the last 3 years. They both came this year. They cover him more than any other golfer. There are way better golfers, he'll win some every once in a while.

Give him the right amount of coverage for how good he is, not how good he used to be.

They give Tiger alot of coverage becausse most people tune in to see Tiger. Dan Patrick said yesterday tv ratings for the final round were138% more than last year. Hmmm. There's your proof. In my opinion,Tiger is the best thing to ever happen togolf-and the players agree. Look where the purses and tv contract would be without him. We all are fortunate to live in the Tiger era to see the stuff he does!!!!:spinny:

I had great respect for him, until I found out he was dating 30 women that weren't his wife.

He had a great chip shot. One of his best ever IMO.

But I really don't want to watch someone have a temper tantrum every time theyre not winning.

1) If you think Tiger was/is the only player who does that, you are wrong. Tiger's was just made public. Ignorance is bliss in this situation. If Tiger's lifestyle was never made public, would you still have respect for him?

That is why I am a fan of Tiger, the athlete, what he does in his personal life is not my business.

2) If you think Tiger is the only golfer to have a temper tantrum every time they're not winning, you are wrong. You just see more of Tiger's tantrums because he is ALWAYS on TV and in the headlines. A lot of other golfer's do the same things, you just never see it because nobody cares about them or what they do so they never make it on TV.

What would have been said if Tiger had WD like Phil did? They would have served him on a silver platter.

And to those people who think that Tiger is the only one they show ALL the time, you are wrong. When he is not doing well, the coverage will not show him. Just like every other golfer. They didn't show Ricky at ALL on Sunday, because they don't want people to see these guys playing poorly. They duff, skull, and top shots out there sometimes, but we never get to see that. Hell, I think they said Villegas got a 10 on 18 as he hit the same shot 6 times and it came back to him every time. But do we get to see that? Nope.
