It is sad how empty that place was. Last year it was empty and they had Eddie Sutton Appreciation. But I think last year they had bad weather. This year though? More excuses on why it was not filled up.
I would not say we own the place, but getting to wins in a row down there? I do not think any ISU coach can say that since the mid-60's. Another sign of what CFH is doing for the program. This is something Tinsley/Fizer could not do!
Hilton south is taken. Lets just call it hiltonwest
There's no excuse. Saying their program sucks isn't an excuse. We got way more people in quilting in the GM years.
Oh relax. It's mostly a joke.I like the enthusiasm but when we have won there twice in something like 25 years this thread just makes us look foolish.
I really don't fully believe in the NBA excuse. OSU and OU attendances were crap before the Thunder moved into OKC in 2008.I grew up going to dozens and dozens of timberwolves games and gopher games so here is my peace:
The NBA excuse is a cop out. NBA games are much less fun overall than college games (when the college is good). NBA doesn't have live bands or a rowdy student section. NBA fans don't have a shared connection like being alumni of the same school. NBA players get traded so it's hard to build up loyalty to players.
It is no contest- using the NBA for poor attendance is a cop out. We sat two rows behind the Wolves bench (corporate tickets) and I'd take those seats at an ISU game instead 100 out of 100 times.
You discount the actual issue and then support the issue you discount in the same post.I just don't buy the Thunder argument. Why are the fans so ****** at Ford. The guy wins and has had a top 25 team the last few years, what more do they want.
