Gene Chizik Does Not Laugh

I'm looking at Cafepress and I cant seem to find where you can change the color. Are there only a few you can choose from?

Are we looking at a cardinal color?

This place seems to have various quality of shirts. Hanes, etc.

Wolvie, can you shoot me the image you used. I want to price some of this up and see what we can get.
 
I have spoken with the trademark office:

As long as there are no trademarked Iowa State logos involved with this, it does not need to go thru their office.
It would need to be approved by Coach Chizik to use his likeness.
Whether are not, you plan on making any money on this, has no bearing on whether you need to get it approved or not.

While it may be a good idea with lots of demand for the shirts, Cyclone Fanatic is not allowed to sell non-CF related items.

What about an independent website, a la FreeLucca.com?

What if we could put the CF logo on the back of the shirt right at the bottom of the neck?

I think that would be fine also.
We'll have to make sure we get permission from Jeremy and possibly talk with licensing again, to make sure it's ok, but I don't anticipate any problems with this.

I've never used cafepress or any website for that matter, but if they would allow people to order 1 or 2 at a time, that would probably work out pretty well.

Thanks for checking into this, Dave. If people are really serious about this, we should consider starting a separate thread to coordinate efforts.
 
I really, really, want a Gene Chizik does not laugh shirt and a Gene Chizik can beat the Hawkeyes without scoring a touchdown shirt. I'd also take one about him lighting hawkeyes on fire with a magnifying glass at night. Maybe a Gene Chizik can speak braille shirt.
 
I think you can forget a Gene Chiz. likeness on the shirt. No way he'll agree to that.
 
Before we start voting on the top 10 sayings, we need to establish whether or not modified Chuck Norris facts are allowed, as a lot of these facts are. Personally, I think some of those facts are the funniest, I just don't know what kind of copyright problems we would have with the Chuck Norris website.

Would they sue us for their "theoretical dollars" like all the youtube celebrities? If so, maybe we can pay for the shirts with Bennigans coupons to avoid any problems.

Hard to say, but I would not want to put myself in that situation.
