They still will likely suck on defense, but that roster has a lot of scoring potential.

We are #35 in the same projections.

There are a lot of blah teams at the bottom of the Big Ten that there are not in the Big 12. Even the "bad" teams in the Big 12... OSU, OU, Baylor... are going to be way more likely to reach up and bite you than are the likes of PSU, Minny, and Buttgers.

I have a feeling both teams are going to be pretty good next year.

That game in Iowa City is going to determine a lot about both making the tournament and/or seeding for both teams, looking at the mutual schedules.

If you think Cam Lard is a better offensive player than Garza you’re an idiot. Lard is definitely a better overall player, but Garza is much better offensively (and a marginally better rebounder).

And the B1G is about as bad as any Power conference has ever been. You ever think maybe that's why he looks good to you? It's because the competition blows.
Iowa State will play eight more in conference games against 2018 NCAA tourney teams this year than Iowa will. Its staggering how bad the B1G is.

Basabe is better than Ejim will live on forever. Basabe over Ejim became a guy who should be riding the bench for most decent teams vs an All American and B12 PotY.

At least White was a solid player, no Niang but it wasn't the total hilarious laugher that Basabe over Ejim was.

That’s fair....I do think he can improve on D. He got himself out of position a lot and he got overpowered at times. With the way he works I definitely expect him to improve on the defensive end

He will never be the hok god of defense Adam Woodbury. He was so underrated it gives hok fan semi wood. Look at him point at stuff and yell. That means he cares and is good at organizing things, real hok stuff.Oops.
