Gary Payton was apparantly just on the Herd and said that his son will play at ISU. Anyone know anything about this kid?

He said "Iowa State". Unless it was Ohio State but it sure sounded like Iowa State to me. Gary also said. "He's going to be real good".

I was just going to ask if anybody else heard it. I swear he said Iowa State.

Gary Jr. and Gary II are two different sons. Jr. is with his wife and II is from a different mother.

I would not be surprised if we get another player or two during Fred's reign, that are sons of former NBA guys. Often those type of players are walk on caliber, but with his ties, I wouldn't be shocked to see this happen again.

I think Ferentz has gotten a couple of guys who's dads were NFL connected before, because of his connections to the NFL and reputation.
