It will be a nice and abnormally long winter break for the bb teams. I like that aspect of it, but selfishly wish they were playing

We could certainly shoot like **** against Baylor but it's not going to have anything to do with playing Omaha 10 days prior.
Scrimmaging 5x5 would honestly give us better game prep vs. Baylor than what Omaha is going to be able to give us. They are putrid.
On the bright side, it gives some of the players dealing with injuries a little more time off.
Well just don't fill it in with Drake please.

Seems kind of bizarre. They've certainly held games against opponents from much further away in bad weather.
I was already dreading the no game stretch between Omaha and Baylor. Now I have to have an even longer stretch between games!?
If this storm/bomb cyclone or whatever it's being called is as nasty as forecast; super cold and covering a big chunk of the nation there are going to be more than a few games cancelled or postponed. I do wonder if and how the Selection Committee might take those into consideration come March.
Too bad for us fans; I was looking forward to watching tomorrow night's game, even if it was likely going to be a blowout, but I imagine the players are happy about having a night off and less stress with traveling (hopefully for them). If nothing else it will give Osun a chance to rest his foot/ankle. Any word on that, by the way?

Drake actually plays #15 Mississippi State at home tonight and then is supposed to play St. Ambrose tomorrow at 1 pm
Yeah, it's real odd to me, especially the women's game. UNI moved from Thursday to Wednesday and St Bonaventure is still coming from freaking New York.
Honestly I'd love to watch a practice just see how it's run, player/coach interactions etc.
And maybe a break for some CFers to not obsess with how well a 20 year old plays basketball for them.
Yeah my usual 1hr drive got turned into a 2.5 hour drive once, with me only sort of knowing where I was on roads I'd driven my whole life. I was really hoping they would back to back the games on Wed. leave the men at 6 and put the women at 1 or 2. or even a noon and 5 thing.
