where do you live? Roads were pretty bad in Ames then, Ames PD was telling people to stay in. We got 4-5 inches in like 4 hours here.

Drove from Cedar Falls to Des Moines early evening hours. Took the diagonal from marshaltown. Des Moines was snow covered but it didn’t seem that horrible. Maybe Ames was worse. I was surprised to see the map all green around 9 pm that night.
