Sorely missing from this thread:

I'd give honorable mention to The Goldberg's theme. Kinda wish it was a whole song. Also like how it transitions the beginning to the theme of that particular show with the "It was 1980 something and..........."

Giving it prop's because the 8 bit music idea is awesome.

A recent show that at the start of I was not into as nearly much as I was by the end of the series. Too bad this show didn't go on at least another season because the final season was just so good and had some many story lines that abruptly ended. Now as the parent of a soon to be 1 year old I found myself relating to some of the situations more and one of the final episodes where Craig T Nelson and his daughter were sitting on the porch and he asks his daughter "have I been a good father?" I turned to my wife after that scene and said that could be me some day talking with our daughter when she is about to get married. Got to love shows that can tug on your heart strings

Man, this thread brings back the memories. All of the ones I was thinking (Greatest American Hero, Scooby Doo, Electric Company, Fresh Prince) have all been said already.

More recently - I really liked the Fringe opening music.

So good, it didn't even need to show the title.

Anyone else remember this show?
