Friday OT #1 - Best Theme Song

So many feels in this thread. The nostalgia is crazy. Makes me miss my younger days.
 
CBS Sports Spectacular used Fire on High by ELO in the late 70's. About 1:30 into this is what played for the theme.

Seemed like a lot of the earlier ones actually told the set up of the show.

A horse is a horse of course of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course, that is of course unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.

First, I didn't read through the entire thread, so sorry if any of this has been stated already. IMO, too many great ones to narrow down a "best" one. However, from the perspective of my generation (late 70s-80s), anything by Mike Post was top-notch: Hill Street Blues, Greatest American Hero, Magnum P.I., Rockford Files, etc... I also loved these other theme songs: Johnny Quest, Star Trek (original series), Hogan's Heroes and Mission Impossible.
 
On these Friday OT threads I love writing down the 1st thing that pops into my head and see if anyone else says it first. I did alright. Cool songs, cheesy shows, but every time I hear the song it brings me back to my youth.
1) Friends (naturally a lot agreed)
2) Wonder Years
3) Tour of Duty (80's Vietnam show, I think it made it 1 year, but every time I hear Stones' "Paint it Black" I get the flashback to me sitting on my living room shag carpet watching it with my parents.
4) Simpsons
 
Man great topic, and it figures the days there are great off topic ideas I'm always late to the party so all my responses have been used. No one theme stands out. From my childhood days Duck Tales, GI Joe, He-Man, TMNT, Thundercats. Shows from childhood non-cartoon, Dukes of Hazard, A-Team, Fresh Prince. Also shows from before my time in Gilligan's Island and Hawaii 5-0.
 
I'll be the first to say that as far as intros without and lyrics The Office is my favorite.

But my favorite from this thread are Fresh Prince, Arthur, Full House, Family Matters, Home Improvement, Andy Griffith Show

I really don't like Family Guy's, Friends, The Sopranos, or The Big Bang Theory themes.
