Friday Beer Thread

I was in Montreal one time with some buddies. The store around the block from where we were staying only had Unibroue as a a choice for beer. We played drinking games all night with that stuff. Ouch.

Most are higher alcohol content beer. I wouldn't think drinking games would last very long.

In Ottawa. Beer is mega-expensive. Had a pounder of Moosehead and a pounder of Steamwhistle. Both were so-so, but for >$2 each (at the store), I enjoyed them.

Did you know that the Canadian government sets mandatory minimums on beer prices?!

Edit: Pounder = East Coast parlance for "Tall Boy".

I can handle about one of those lemonade beers at a time, and that's it. It's too much like...froot loop milk.

Send down your homosexual beverages to MLawrence, I'll be sure to dispose of them properly.

I went with a Oatmeal Stout tonight (Home brewed of course.) I've got a few more styles bottled up I'll be sipping on after I "test" these stouts.

My kids wanted to go to the races so it's some kind of cheap swill atm.

Widmer Brothers Drifter Pale Ale when I get home. I'm absolutely addicted that stuff lately.

Drinking an import from the Republic of Texas.

Lone Star in a frosty mug
