Didn't see anyone start this yet, and since this weekend is the Colorado Brewers' Festival here in Fort Collins, I'd be honored to start.

Colorado Brewers' Festival: Downtown Business Association

I'm going to have a beertastic weekend. Taking the afternoon off to bike to a couple breweries and get some homebrew supplies. Tonight I have tickets to to Connoisseur Beer Tasting Party with a lot of local small batch stuff. Saturday bottling 10 gals of homebrew, Sunday hopefully brewing 5 more (ancho chile chocolate porter), and going to the brewfest in the afternoon. Take that, Miller Lite pop-top!

Just stopped at Hy-Vee and picked up some:

Founders Centennial IPA
&
Green Flash IPA

I have some homebrews waiting for me in my fridge - an IPA (hopped with Chinook only), and a honey wheat. I have an amber ale I need to transfer to secondary this weekend. It was the first homebrew where I aimed for a distinct color - red. If successful, I'm going to name it Cardinal Rules Ale.

I'm also going to my major professor's/Boss's house on Sunday to teach him how to brew with his new hombrew starter kit.

It's looking to be a frothy weekend!

--- Edit ---

Unfortunately I'm going to miss Tour de Fat over in Durham tomorrow b/c I have a meeting I need to attend all morning. That would have been a good time.

This thread needs this video, I'm ready for the weekend!

Bottling 10 gallons? You need some kegs, brother!

In my fridge for the weekend:

Stone Imperial Russian Stout
Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard
Sixpoint Resin

Got all of this in Indiana on my trip to the 500.

OH! And me and some buddies are brewing our first all-grain batch tomorrow morning! I think we actually might be doing two 5 gallon batches since I'll be bringing my new 15 gal boil kettle & mash tun.

This gem has probably been posted on previous Friday beer threads... but I don't care since I just discovered it today.

Thanks for the thread, I've missed it.

Cabco is providing "One Eyed Red & Bucktooth Blonde" at their tents at the Des Moines Arts Festival this weekend. While I think the graphics for these two are awful, I'll probably try them. I think they debuted last year.

I will be traveling to the Quad Cities this evening for a wedding tomorrow. I'll let you know what's been picked up in the "Friday Beer Thread: Saturday Edition" thread.

Well I think we are going to Prarie Meadows tonight, so probably Coors Light there.
On Saturday night, wedding reception, so whatever is free!

Ill be looking for a guy drinking Coors light there then! :) You can find me being really ****** off when the dealer lands on 21.

I'll probably be watching the horse races, but afterwards, I'll come look for a ****** off dude that looks like your avatar at a blackjack table.

Bold choice. I am not usually a fan of any chile's in beer. My main experience with that was in New Mexico where they had some green chile beer. It had a good flavor, but damn, that **** would burn the bejesus out of you on the way down.
