I can appreciate the Clones fans giddiness after the Hawks debacle last night. It was not a good night. It was bad. Enjoy it. But.....we will keep the memory of of the Rattlers (#311 KenPom) glorious night at Hilton in our back pocket until the end of time.

Just looked at the box score. Wieskamp makes one, Fredrick makes one, Garza makes one, Wieskamp misses one, McCaffery misses one, and Jordbo makes one. So 4-6.
Yikes, Iowa could lose 3 of its next 4 if they're not careful. After they beat ISU/Cincinnati, they had me convinced they were a tournament team. Might not be enough cupcakes in the Big 10 this year.
I decided to lean into it. Going to get a Florida A&M shirt. Hats off to those guys, they balled at the end and took it.
The TCU loss made me more mad as it was a conference game.
All things considered it wouldn't surprise me at all. Nebraska pretty much showed the blueprint for beating the Hawks going forward. Not enough shooters to make teams pay at this point.
Again. A BAD loss in the context of a season no doubt. But I wouldn't call it historically bad. Kennesaw St or Cal Poly would have been historically bad.
I called Florida A & M a historically bad loss. It will be remembered for years. We don't have one of those this season.

So now we are down to arguing whose turd smells worse. As the Hamptons and Northwestern State's fade away....so will the FAMU. Oh.....it will always be a...holy crap how did that happen...moment. But the only time it will be brought up is to by Hawk fan's saying "oh yeah" smoothing over something bad by their Hawks or by miserable Cyclone fans wanting to rub Prohm's face in it. Other than that.....a win tonight goes a long way into putting that debacle in the rear view mirror.

Yes it was historically bad. No, it won't be remembered that much. It's not like ISU was top 5 undefeated ect. We are a mediocre team that when hits shots can beat most teams but if doesn't hit shots can lose to anyone.
One team is awful and the other team isn't. Their win last night bumped them up to 137th though. Still behind 5-11 Fresno State and 5-11 UT Arlington but they did jump Winthrop and Marshall!
If the Clones lose their next 2 they will have the same record as Nebraska with similar SOS.
