I pick tomorrow morning. I tailgate in B5 with some friends but it appears I'll finally be able to park close to them. Walking into the lots with all of my gear is a pain.

There seem to be a surprising amount of higher level donors selecting spots in lower level lots - About 60 spots have been selected today in lots C1/C2, which would potentially open spots south of center drive for others.
A few folks at the very top level of States may be able to sneak into those lots, but it probably wont be many.
Looking that way. There have been ~170 C1/C2 passes picked so far, higher than I expected.

I was able to get a D3 spot even though I am Cardinal and D3 is in the estimated level for Gold and Captains levels.
I was surprised also to get D3. Will be nice to have actual parking stalls.
I was also surprised G6 was so popular. It is ok if you arrive early. Otherwise it can be pretty challenging sometimes since it is just gravel, no parking lines and no one helps cars to park, so it's a free-for-all.
I agree on C1/C2. We’ve been there the past 2 years and have liked it. I think C1/C2 has the highest percentage of good tailgating/grass spots. We decided to try D3 this year since we often tailgate at other spots and thought it might be nice to be a little closer. We’ll see how that works out for us.
Except for one year we have been in G6. I noticed when I picked this year, the number of spaces it showed was less then half of what it has shown in past years. Anyone else notice that too?
Since the RVs have been moved, the lots have really opened up this year.... especially for Cardinal and below. Should be another fun season!
All the years we've been there no. The west side was standing water after a couple of games though when rained hard.

I'm #1060 out of 1390 Cardinal donors. Also picked at 9:30. Was shocked to sneak into B4.
Where do you go to see your rank among your donor level? I used to know but can't find it now.
Mine was on the front page of my cyclones.com account. It's like 2 pop-up windows discussing the changes and when you select parking. I think they'll do the same for picking seats. Or I'm pretty sure you can call the ticket office and they'll tell you.
B4, as in "Before the Game" is the lot to be in. Been tailgating there for many years. Welcome to the lot.
Totally overlooked that. The overlay for parking selection hides it. I closed that and it's right there.
It's really just a parking spot for me. I've been tailgating in B5 for years. Last year I gave my G7 parking pass to a friend and walked into the lots from the neighborhoods. I'm inching closer and closer to B5 now which will put our tailgate up to 4 spots once I get in there.
Hope I'm wrong but have a feeling the sales numbers are down some this year.
Probably due to these reasons:
1. Donation upgrade requirement.
2. Team expectations not as high as recent seasons
3. No Iowa or even UNI on the home schedule.
