C1/2 is picked together as one lot. Last I looked last night, a lot more mid parking than I expected to be available.

I'm 554/1284 for States, and was told by the ticket office I would be borderline of getting a spot South of Center Drive if I jumped to Cardinal, so they're anticipating Cardinal overflowing into the Hilton lots. I would say it's extremely unlikely any States donors will make it out of the Hilton lots.

C1/C2! For those without an RV, per capacity, it’s the lot with the highest odds to get a spot with ample amounts of sidewalk and grass space to sprawl out in and play games.
And if exit efficiency is a selling point, you don’t have to fight the droves of pedestrians leaving JTS.
Just depends. C1 isn't *that* much more of a walk than C2. It'll be interesting come the first few games on where people go to first in these lots. It's a whole new world for us G7'ers.
I had C3 last year and loved the extra grass. We took D3 this year because we could, but im curious how canopies will work if the extra grass along University isnt adjacent to the parking spots. We figured we could try it out and if it sucks we hopefully can find someone to trade for C3
I concur. This will be our 3rd year with an RV pass. We have really come to love heading over on Friday and leaving on Sunday. Making a whole weekend out of it instead of just a day. It will be REALLY nice this year knowing we have "our spot" and do not have to get there early. The best part is the elimination of the constant generator buzz. It will be so nice not listening generators.
I hear ya about the generators. I found a cure for that... after my 6th beer I no longer noticed them.
RV village question. For clarity, the email talked about No in/out privileges. I assume that means for your camper and not your pulling vehicle?
Anybody call them for a clarification yet? That would crazy if they wouldn’t let people leave to go get groceries or restock the adult beverages.

Soooo jealous. We plan to walk through the RV lot this fall to get some ideas. Our goal is to buy an RV we can use for tailgating (and camping). We've camped in the past and owned anything from a trailer to a 5th wheel to a MiniWini RV.
A few questions:
* Do any of you store your RV/camper in or near Ames instead of driving/pulling it from home?
* Where do you dump your tanks?
* What about water? Is there someplace nearby to fill?
* Is there a limit on the length?
* For those with a 5th wheel or TT, are you able to park your truck in the same spot? (Assuming if so it's like some campgrounds where the vehicle & camper can't exceed a certain length)
* What amp is the electricity? 30?
We tailgated in C3 last year because there were grass areas available to set up tents and cornhole etc. This year with D1 no longer being an RV lot we decided to move over there because there is tree cover for shade and larger/flatter grass areas than C3. We could move much closer to the stadium at our priority level, but the grass is so much more important to us than the proximity to the stadium.

RV VILLAGE AMENITIES:
- Reserved numbered stall for each game the entire season
- 55’ x 10’ concrete parking pad to park your RV, camper, bus, 5th wheel, etc.
- 14’ wide adjacent grass area for tailgating (i.e. space for pop-up tents, lawn chairs, grills, etc.)
- Electrical hook-ups at each stall that will provide a 20/30/50 amp outlet
- Porta-potties and trash bins located throughout the RV parking area (no water service or dumping stations)
I believe there is a dump station at the southbound rest area on I-35 north of Ames.
Fifth wheel campers were able to keep their truck with their camper in the old lots. I don't imagine it will be a problem as long as both fit on the provided pad.

Just made my selection. Based on the supply left, I am led to believe that anyone in cardinal that wants to would be able to pick a lot south of center drive
