I'm one of those donors and I'm honestly pretty pissed about this. This should have been shared prior to season ticket renewals.
Edit: also noticed that the tweet says assignments not selections.
I wouldn't say I am pissed but yeah we started donating to get a spot and that's not going to happen now. I know they say there won't be a significant number of spots lost long term but I just don't see it. I will happily eat crow but there just does not seem to be enough space for what they are doing and not taking up spots.
So when it's States turn to pick A3, B3, and C3 will be off limits even if they aren't sold out right?
No, those charts are estimates. If a lot isn't sold out, someone in States can hop in there.
Historically, this graphic was just a guideline. If spots were open in a lot higher than your donor level you could pick them.
I would put the chances of getting in one of those lots pretty darn close to zero. I'm towards the middle of States and have been able to bump up 1 level in the past but never 2.
I reckon there won't be too many with the 300 donor lot out at vet med. Completely sucks losing C1/C2 though.
I was able to the last couple of years. It's all based on demand. They aren't going to leave empty spaces in parking lots much like they won't leave empty seats.
Agree, I'm betting it'll fill up with Cardinal donors before it ever reaches States.
And remember the parking eventually all switches to head-in straight, no more diagonal.
So those islands will be gone? I really hope a crew cab long box doesn’t park behind me. That would make it impossible to get out if you don’t have a compact vehicle.
I think I'm like 444 in the States level. I've donated for several years but this is the first year I've tried to get a parking pass. We've tailgated in the grass lots with family who don't donate so it wasn't worth the hassle. I have zero interest in a vet med pas so if I can't get in the lots up by Hilton then I guess grass lots it is.
