hence the reason we take technical writing classes. and i am pretty sure you should know most of this as long as you graduated high school...grammar is not usually a secondary educational subject

When we say spell his name right, we are not attacking you personally. If we are true cyclone fans, we need to be able to know the coaches name correctly and spell them correctly as well.

He's right, I almost forgot about my handbook I received freshman year stating that if you can't spell a coaches name, then you are not a true cyclone fan. :rolleyes5cz:

A while back I was spelling Jiri's name incorrectly (was spelling it Juri). I was taken to the mat on it - rightfully so.

There really isn't an excuse to spell an ISU player or coach's name incorrectly. Plenty of websites you can visit to look up the listing of the staff and/or roster.

No one likes to have their name misspelled. When in doubt, look it up. It may just be a message board - yet it's about respect.

Plus, the more people that see it spelled wrong, the more that will do it. And we all know plenty of people e-mail the staff about various issues. Think they'll take you seriously when you're spelling a coach/player name wrong?

I think not...
