They came into town in 1994 I believe. On the corner of Stanton and Lincoln.

Anyway, don't bother going to them. They suck.

Used to be Home Team Pizza in that location when I was in school... At least, I think.

I ate plenty of Gumby's in my day. After it closed, I heard that the place was a complete dump, all sorts of health code violations, and the manager/staff didn't care what went into the food....I shudder to think what I was eating when I thought it was a pepperoni roll.

Jeff's is 10000x better than Gumby's ever was.

I'd actually say that Joes is the best in Ames, plus the people that own it are great. If you've never had it, I totally suggest trying their pizza.

Im not going to say home team pizza was better than any of the other pizza places in town, but for $5, a pizza and a 2 liter of soda wasnt a bad deal at all.
