My buddy and I want to go to Whiskey River in Ankeny for the watch party. I would love to hear info on protocol.

Does CF have a part of the bar reserved or just show up and sit anywhere assuming most in there are cyclone fans?
Wondering if it will already be crowded from folks there watching the TOE game the time slot before ours? I am certainly not opposed to getting there a little early and getting the party started, but wondering what others could offer in how these work.

Appreciate any feedback in advance.

CF does NOT have reserved tables, just a known place to congregate. I was at Buzzard Billy's, you're just among a bunch of friends

I am curious if they have the venue that is attached to Whiskey River available for the watch party or is it just the main bar area? If it's just the bar area, you might want to get there VERY early and have a back up plan in place as it isn't overly big. There is a Jethro's right down the block if Whiskey River doesn't pan out.

I do think that you'll have a lot of TOE fans, I've been there during an Iowa game & it was pretty full of Hoks. Of course that was when they still had aspirations of making a good bowl & the B10 CG too so maybe it won't be so bad.
