First Scherff now Ott

Anyone else old enough to remember the coverage of the Reagan assassination attempt in '81, re: Jim Brady?

He's dead, he's alive, he's dead, he's alive, he's dead, he's alive. At some point I think they even questioned if he was there at all.

If Ott truly does have a concussion and even if Ott says he's okay to play, it would be totally irresponsible for UI to play him. We all know that getting a concussion is not a good thing, but the worse thing is to be concussed again shortly after the original concussion. Two concussions in a short time frame could be dangerous to the kids long term health. To top it off he's a lineman who bangs heads all game. Maybe Ott should call UT's Ash and ask him how it worked out for him. That kid is screwed for the long term.

When witnesses see someone with a gsw to the cranium there are a lot of assumptions that they aren't going to survive. It pretty much always is very gruesome.

yeah - of course.

I was speaking more to the fact that everything across the board is being reported and nobody really knows much at all.

he's hurt, he's fine, he's having surgery, he's day to day, he's done...

I don't think that is in the coaches hands. Word is an ambulance was at the scene therefore evaluations have been made and recorded. If he failed any type of concussion tests and they show on the official EMS records then he won't play. If he is playing Saturday that means he never had a concussion to begin with.

There are pictures of the car he hit and without a helmet, lucky he is "ok".
 
Someone photoshop Jok and Ott on a moped together. (I would if I had the first clue how to do it)

It would be a lot more hilarious if the guy didn't get hurt.
