IMO having huge logos is a good idea, for advertisement purposes. Any ISU game that gets televised will have two huge-*** logos that will be impossible to miss.

Lots of dumb *** posting going on in this thread. The videoboard is gigantic, as someone else said, plenty big for our stadium. The screen itself has the capability of showing full screen live action/replays; ads on the sides and smaller screen in the middle; time, score, stats, etc. This is 2011--the technology is there to do multiple things and still have the screen be full size at any given time.
At least try to see it in person before complaining about it not being big enough.

This is very true. We needed a video board update, but even moreso we needed a sound update. The sound system we had before was garbage.

JT could fit inside the Longhorn stadium.
Those ******** about ad space taking up the board, we live in 2011. The board is capable of having ads, the game clock, ect on during gameplay and then use the full size for a replay after. And like others said the sound system is probably even more important than a hundred or so square feet of video board.
Is the second logo panel going to be the same? Just like it was in the renderings? I mean I would have to see it, but I think having our secondary logo on the other side would be pretty sweet.
And after reading through the thread now, are there really some idiots complaining that that 14th biggest screen isn't big enough for ISU? And that we shouldn't have speakers around it?

I'm fine with it too, just throwing it out there. But on second though, I think it would look better where the first one is anyways though. So I'm assuming its going to be the same one.
