Yes, I am really thinking it is overkill and a bit tacky. That said, the intention probably works as you can't get the stinkin logo out of your head when driving around the stadium...Must buy Cyclone shirt.

Anyone else think they have overdone it a bit with placing the logo all around the stadium? Behind the old scoreboard, twice on the east side, twice on front of the new scoreboard and once on the back. Am I missing any? Just looks like a big advertisement whereas many stadiums simply identify the stadium name and leave it at that.

The most you can see at any one time, is probably only 2. (the one's on the scoreboard).
And no, I love seeing our logo all over the place.

You don't see games outside of Ames much, do you? :wink:
Go to any single-use stadium (I mean a stadium that has only one team playing there, not sharing it with two or more teams) - the stadium is usually covered sob that team's identity. Look at a.European soccer stadium - that team's name is usually spelled out by using different colored seating. Seeing the ISU logo everywhere at JTS doesn't concern me - I'd be much more concerned if I didn't see the logo everywhere.
