None of it is very interesting. I wish they'd gone the direction of The Strain and told the story of the CDC's efforts to contain the disease.

Yes, that was awful. Kid is clearly sick, and the parents just want to get the daughter away, and he has enough knowledge of his fate to send his gf away?

I dont think he knows necessarily his fate, but that **** seems to be going down and that his gf needs to get out of the city like her parents want. From his POV, his parents are coming home soon and he'll hopefully be fine once they get back. He might also see himself as a burden to his gf\her family getting out of the city.

Tobias is the only character that I've liked at all so far. I think he's moments from death, since we can't have the smart ones live on, but I kind of like that kid.

They made the cdc part up in TWD as it wasn't I the comics at all. People are meant to not know. I am hesitant to even say it's a disease as the person has to die before becoming reanimated. Could be a supernatural cause too. I thinks it's meant to be a mystery period.

Tell mom to tell daughter something...ANYthing. Yeah, I know they might not understand it's zombies...but she could at least tell her kid that there are some really strange things happening and normal, familiar people are getting freaky, and stay the hell right next to her. Sheesh...she's not protecting her like this...

I keep thinking the episodes are going to get better but not yet for me anyway. I think part of it is the characters.
