I was between ages on those. They came out after my kids were grown and were marketed as YA type books. Consequently, not only did I not have any kids around reading them, I didn't have little ones to read them TO. I'm pretty sure most of my kids and the older grandkids have read the books or seen the movies, but I never did. I apologize for disappointing you.
