I'm coming at this mostly naïve about F1 (most of my racing knowledge is for stock cars and sports cars, not open wheels) so thank you for the commentary. What do you think of the idea of "eliminating" the race and converting the Monaco GP into a qualifying/time trial "race?" That's what it is now, anyways, right?

Part of the problem making it into a qualifying race of sorts is it is such a different course from the other tracks. They are all different and fun in their own right, but Monaco is such a tight street track that it doesn’t really compare.

I think they should turn it into the Monaco F1 Carting race. Get all the drivers out there in some high end shifter carts and let them just have at it. Let's see who really is the best driver.

If nothing else the first 10 laps should be exciting with some heavyweights trying to storm through to the front.

Did Charles just get hit with a 5 sec penalty and drop a spot AFTER that race because he came into the pits too fast?!?!?! LOL good lord that team is in self-destruct mode.

Speeding through the pits putting on the softs for fastest lap on lap 43 of 44. Max was still a half second faster and Charles lost a place because he came out right next to Alonso.

He flat out ended Bottas' race. I know the drivers have kind of a community but they have to hate a guy who is just clearly unfit and puts guys out of the race like a Latifi.
