Fran Frashilla mentioned Hallice Cooke was getting NBA scouts attention due to his promise as a shooter right after he announced he was transferring away from OSU.

No offense to Hallice and Burton but their chances of playing in the NBA are around 2%

Between Jackson, Burton and Malou, there won't be any room for error. If one of those guys turn out to be marginal role players, we're going to struggle if Monte leaves and we add nothing further.

As with most non - 5 stars. Still Hallice is still on scouts radar after his time at Oregon. Burton is a freak athlete and could be what a team is looking for.
We haven't seen enough of either yet to really conclude their potential. I wouldn't predict either to the NBA at this point but, who knows after next year?

Ridiculous statement at this point since we have no idea at this point how they will develop. The fact NBA scouts are at least interested in Hallice indicates that he at least has the potential due to his shooting. As far as Burton, he without a doubt has the athleticism/strength needed for the NBA. No one knows at this point how he will develop.
 
I'm headed to the TCU and A&M games in January. I hope to be able to catch one of Jakolby's games while I have time to kill.

Fred had trouble recruiting for over a year, not just those 3 months. Everyone knew he was flirting with the NBA since he was interviewing for jobs in the spring of 2014. Rival coaches used that against him while recruiting.
