Eli King??

Just wondering whether Eli will stay at Isu or go somewhere else to do his one and done season before going on to NBA. Maybe go to Iowa so Hawkeyes win by 40 over cyclones next year!
You are easily the worst and most obvious troll on the internet. Time to go upstairs, put on your Hawkeye jammies, and go to bed. Mommy says it’s past your bed time.

I know you're trying to be clever but you're failing pretty hard at it.

This thread has, on occasion, derailed into productive discussion, but it is being primarily driven by two (allegedly) members that both joined on 12/1/22, have posted in no other threads, and have some… fascinating takes. Draw your own conclusions.
What they may or may not know (it doesn't matter to us), their content continues to drive this forum by volume. Deprecating as it may be, we put up with them. For a time.

If they aren't precluded soon it will only be because they are helping CF. In the intermediate brief interval that they are here, my computer has just added to its ignore function.

When it comes to this thread I’m just going to trust TJ. ’Nuff said.
I would love to see Eli play now or down the road. For whatever reason, it doesn't seem like he will play much this year.

Here's hoping he continues to stay a Cyclone, grind it out and improve his game. I think he has a chance to be very good.

One other consideration about Eli, his knee may not be fully allowing him to be 100%. Just a thought.

bye Felicia.

If King ever plays the 1 at ISU something has gone horribly wrong. He is obviously not going to play this year barring catastrophic injury and next year are going to be 3 guys ahead of him minimum at the 1.
Where were those 3 guys last night? Lipsey won't be guarded again on defense until he can prove he can make a 12ft shot. The d will sag cut off his drive and extend on the wing shooters. I stopped counting after 5 turnovers in a 3 min timeframe in the 2nd half. He looked like a 7th grader for a stretch. The 25 year old 5th and 6th year seniors wanted nothing to do with helping relieve the pressure at that point; they basically ran the other way. The key will be can Otz earn his money? Can he coach? The pressure is just starting. Every future opponent will be watching the film.

Doesn’t matter. He won’t play. He clearly must REALLY suck.

Yes trust in Otz. You could see it in his eyes at the 8 min mark he was done. Players picked up on it. It was over at that point. It's ok you have no athletic ability. Always the last one picked at recess weren't you? It's ok mommy will burp you. Run along now. Mommy will call you for supper.

Eli has played 6 more minutes than the guy who literally said he doesn’t want PT and just wants to be on the team. He’s not the answer especially this year. Why are you even on CF? Maybe you should make an Eli Fanatic website.

Did you stop because you couldn't remember what comes after 5?

Went back and watched Eli's few minutes on Saturday against Missouri. At this point I'm guessing he isn't playing simply because he's that far behind Tamin offensively and especially defensively. Eli brings basically the same things to the table as Tamin, just isn't doing them as well currently. His one handed set shot from the corner caused me to go blind for a few seconds.

He did appear to have a decent handle, and was bringing the ball up against Missouri starters since they decided to leave them in until the 28 second mark... if nothing else, maybe Eli could help relieve some ball pressure down the stretch. But not likely to happen, since he's a zero on offense and question mark on defense
