I was at a Chrysler dealership when they came out. Almost impossible to get one and they were going for 40k over sticker when they did.View attachment 117058
I've wanted one since I was a kid. - It is 100% a toy car though. ZERO room for any cargo. The biggest complaint that Chrysler received was that it couldn't even hold a set of golf clubs.

Was at ISF this year and there was an elec Hummer there. I checked it out and sure it looked neat but impractical for most.I was at a Chrysler dealership when they came out. Almost impossible to get one and they were going for 40k over sticker when they did.

I guess I don't understand that, why would the dealership sell it 50k light then? Was at ISF this year and there was an elec Hummer there. I checked it out and sure it looked neat but impractical for most.
GM rep told me if you're on the waiting list, you can sell that same day and make $50k right now.
Apparently the demand is there for people to flip them right away.I guess I don't understand that, why would the dealership sell it 50k light then?
Honda S2000.
A legit one is the correct answer…….
If you order one, the price and everything is agreed upon already. That would make sense. Otherwise if the market is that hot, the dealer will add the 50k to the MSRP as their price and take the profit themselves.Apparently the demand is there for people to flip them right away.
I've never ordered a vehicle so I don't know about "rules" with having to keep an order if someone has a down-payment/paid for it.
Now you know what I feel like when people start posting about gaming. Just no interest. Is there anybody else here who just isn’t a car guy? I honestly don’t have a dream car.
If you were in the back seat, the car was not moving side to side...Totally agree, my brother a couple years older had a 71 Chevelle, 454, Hurst shift kit, would fly down the road, a couple of times he took it up to Eddyville to drag race.
Great car to tool around the square in Centerville, or back and forth the 10 miles to school, but if drove 50 to 100 miles, you tended to get car sick from all the pumping and charring around, and God forbid if you were in the back seat.
A year with the car, or a year with Jennifer?![]()
Note, does not need to come with Ms. Gardner.
