Down goes Iowa

Bowen looks like he'll be a solid player for them but I wouldn't count on him contributing very much next year, probably similar to Lipsey in playing time.
Other than that all they have is Dix from Council Bluffs I think. He was a solid player but I think he had some injury issues so is a shell of himself now.

Injury issues? Dude had a double compound fracture in leg...I'll be very surprised if he ever sees court this year for Iowa.

So someone else posted and I looked it up...but...Rebraca is 25 years old this year??!!

Twenty Five...Years....old.

How is that even possible?

I admit I'm not a reservoir of Hawkeye knowledge, but they've won the B1G tournament before?

The Curse of Dr. Tom remains in force.
All three times (01, 06, 22) are post Tom and they followed those up with a single win in the big dance in 01

Fizer was an alpha. Keegan is the textbook definition of a beta. He will likely be an NBA bust.

I don't know if I agree about the bust part (I guess that depends upon how highly he gets picked)...but I agree with your point! Keegan is way too laid back...there were times I thought "does he even want to be on the court?". I know he does...and I know he is a good kid. But if I were an Iowa fan I would have wanted to see a bit more fire from him...or at least some! I always wonder if he was happy to be there...yeah, that is reading into things a bit but he just seemed to miss that extra emotion that is important to have in athletic competitions.

All I can say is lololololololol ….I kept telling people Purdue was their one legit win wtf was the hype? Anyone can look hot playing northwestern, Rutgers and Indiana

The problem with B1G fans in general is that they are pumped B1G Network propaganda all season long and they all think that the league is stacked. It was not a good league this year but they always get the benefit of the doubt as far as bids go.

With the age of rebraca and jorbos many years at the TOE does Iowa athletics offer there players long term health care

I think Patrick McCaffrey, Kris Murray and Sandfort take pretty good steps next season. If they can find a decent shooter somewhere, they’ll like be back in the tournament next year. Maybe not a 5 seed, but definitely back in.

Also, Toussaint and Perkins are decent pieces and will be another year experienced.

This isn't talked about enough but IMO Iowa will miss Keegans efforts on defense more than his offensive production.
