How is he only listed as a 3 star guy? I didn't realize Ohio State recruited 3 star guys.
He was a four-star recruit but weight issues brought him back down to 3.
The thread about his commitment on Reddit is saying he was a 4 star, but some of the other programs were worried about him putting on some not-so-healthy weight and backed off.
According the 247 guy it was really only between KU and ISU. OSU, TAM and Oregon all said they weren't recruiting him.
And supposedly he was a backup plan to Ahmad Moten.

There are only so many 4 and 5 star players to go around. Even Alabama has a couple 3 star guys in their class (given they're 3 star guys would be top 5 in our class).
