Actually, I used the first one that popped up and was updated today. I didn't even look where ISU was seeded before posting.

Look out, Dave will come riding in here on his white charger to Surly's rescue. This thread is a great example of why the fraction of CF posters that believe Surly is a decent contributor are completely wrong.

That’s not answering your question.Called it "ad homenim."
So let me get this straight. This tourney doesn't matter because it only provides the fans entertainment and brings in money that can let the Big XII compete nationally so that it can be better setup to provide the fans entertainment.I've written from the start that this tournament matters to the fans and the coffers. Whether it does to the players and coaches is up for debate. King McClure said he had his doubts about the latter. Naturally, winning it is great for fan bravado.
Conference tournaments do matter and it will really hit home if/when ISU wins the Big 12 and is playing the 1st and 2nd round as a 4 seed in Des Moines when K-State gets booted to a 5 seed in Greensboro since they had an early exit in the Big 12 tournament.Well, as I said earlier, I, like King McClure who actually played in it, I don't like this tournament because there's nothing much to be gained for the upper half of the league. It's a money grab.
TCU hammers K-State. It wasn't close. But what's it mean? TCU already had a dance card, as did the Cats.
Will be interested to see how the conference teams are seeded. See you next week when the games actually mean something.
Where did all this sir and misogynist bull crap come from? Completely unnecessary and frankly make you look like a moron. Where did anything I say come off as misogynistic? Why are you assuming I’m even a sir to begin with?Don't put your values on my table, sir. I didn't lie. Nor have I ever lied here, sir. Now take your misogynistic attitudes and put them where the light doesn't shine, sir.

My team gets whooped in quarters by a lower seed = doesn’t matter. My sense this morning is that the only programs who are fully vested in it are at the bottom. oSu, WVU, TxT have an interest in doing well to secure their NCAA births. OU would have to win it to get a dance card.
For the rest, yes, it would be a nice trophy in the case but everyone will have forgotten who did what by next week when the dance starts. I remember Bob Knight ranting about it over there as meaningless.
I mean I'll watch out of curiosity and because I love this league and each team. But I wont have a fit over an early or late out, unless it's the championship game. The 2023 B12 champion is Ku.
