So let me get this straight. This tourney doesn't matter because it only provides the fans entertainment and brings in money that can let the Big XII compete nationally so that it can be better setup to provide the fans entertainment.

So this tournament doesn't matter because it only satisfies the customer.

Guess it probably doesn't matter whether the games are televised either?

Why do the NCAA tourney games matter? Only one team will be champion. Over 1/2 the field doesn't have a shot on winning it. Let's scale it back to the 16 or 32 that do.

TCU hammers K-State. It wasn't close. But what's it mean? TCU already had a dance card, as did the Cats.

Conference tournaments do matter and it will really hit home if/when ISU wins the Big 12 and is playing the 1st and 2nd round as a 4 seed in Des Moines when K-State gets booted to a 5 seed in Greensboro since they had an early exit in the Big 12 tournament.

Where did all this sir and misogynist bull crap come from? Completely unnecessary and frankly make you look like a moron. Where did anything I say come off as misogynistic? Why are you assuming I’m even a sir to begin with?

Oh idk. He is generating a lot of hits for CF and increasing the ad revenue.

I always wonder if some of the semi-troll posters are actually CWill or some surrogate shill whose mission it is to rile people up and drive hits/views...

For the rest, yes, it would be a nice trophy in the case but everyone will have forgotten who did what by next week when the dance starts. I remember Bob Knight ranting about it over there as meaningless.

I mean I'll watch out of curiosity and because I love this league and each team. But I wont have a fit over an early or late out, unless it's the championship game. The 2023 B12 champion is Ku.

My team gets whooped in quarters by a lower seed = doesn’t matter.

My team wins in the quarters and advances to the semis = matters.
