Re: Dirty Creston Cops

Nice generalization.

Small town cops have a much harder job than a cop in a big city.

Really? How so?

Wouldn't you agree that there is much more violent crime in larger cities? I live in Minneapolis now and you couldn't pay me enough money to be a beat cop on the north side here.

I guess "more dangerous" doesn't necessarily mean harder to everyone. That was just my first instinct when thinking about law enforcement.

No one is saying its more dangerous, but alot of times they know everyone in that town, and in many cases aren't the most popular figure around. While low stress in some aspects, it wouldn't be much fun.

From my extensive experience with small town cops, it seems about 50% are good men, fair, and actually looking to serve and protect the community they're in.

The other 50% are absolute scumbags who really enjoy harassing people, often at the expense of actually focusing on larger problems. Ie, the cop who is more interested in busting kids for drinking than he is about the meth lab across the street from city hall...

Small town cops have hard jobs...hahahahaha oh that's rich, based on what, handing out seatbelt tickets, driving around for countless hours, all that free coffee? Please spare me this drivel, small town cops like most of the one's from the communnity I grew up in are just pathetic...You hear that McB?
