yep and i mean absolutely dominated think phillip bates on mike klinkinborg dominatedThis is a funny thread. David was just named MVP of the Football University camp in Chicago and bumped up to #7 OL/#2 pass blocker in the nation by rivals. Yet he got totally dominated at ISU's team camp...I'm sure. I've got 4 words for this thread... sour grapes & Roosevelt bias.
I guess I'd trust analysts over you - no offense.
Maybe the problem here is Iowa. Because analysts also got Dan Doering wrong. Doering was a 5 star OT ranked as the #4 OT in 2005 and #27 overall and he is yet to start and was overtaken by a 3 star from the 2006 class. Let Iowa get the high ranked OL, they just get wasted there.
Regardless, if you are the #27 player in a class you better be starting by your junior year or you are considered a bust, especially at Iowa who isn't exactly setting the world on fire lately.
Yeah...I'm sure that had nothing to do with the fact that for Dan's first 2 seasons he was suffering from a chronic foot problem. The same problem that Detroit's Kevin Jones had. Once he finally got healthy and got into the game last season, he and Bulaga dominated.

BTW, anyone who chooses iowa for their engineering program over ISU and Illinois either is not very smart, or not serious about engineering.
