Dan Winters leaving WHO

Lindsay Burrell is getting a lot of run lately in the evenings as the newest anchor on 13. If it's not Erin it's been her a lot lately. Makes you wonder if Maria Lisignoli would have stuck around longer if she would be the one in those time slots now. 13 probably would have lost Erin by now of they had not switched to this new rotation of evening anchors where she doesn't have to do the 10pm news.

I actually like channel 5. They usually have good up and coming talent, and Brad Edwards is a good meteorologist

I only watch news stations when there is bad weather going on. Channel 5 is where I go for that.

I've noticed that as WHO has leaned increasingly to the right, the balanced and/or left-leaning anchors & reporters are leaving. IIRC, wasn't WHO part of that company (Sinclair?) that wanted all of its station anchors to read some sort of blanket propaganda statement on air a couple of years ago?

Not Central Iowa but Kaj O'Mara (a classmate of @FDWxMan ) left KCRG for forensic meteorology on Friday.

WHO better be giving her more air time!

Erin really has seemed to have “aged” more the last few years. Surprised she has not called it a career. Two younger kids with one being autistic. She did a good job on here series on autism. Can’t imagine what it must be like.
