CW POD: Is pro wrestling fun again?

I think they had to....it was too "cute" otherwise for the Cody Rhodes story....and i freaking love Cody Rhodes don't get me wrong.

I do like that Reigns had to win dirty.....

I listened to a podcast review of night 2 and I'm good with it now. Cody has been with the company 1 year and most of it we was injured. This I believe is his first loss since his overall return and letting him come in go undefeated and take Reigns down in his first try is too easy.

Look at the Sami Bloodline stuff. It was almost a whole year. The podcast I was listening to brought up that next year mania is in Philadelphia home of the Rocky movies.

Rocky didn't win the boxing title his first time but did it the next movie. I could see Cody Roman at next year's mania where he does win. It's a gamble because hopefully Cody will still be this over in a year from now, but it makes alot of sense.

The other thing is… wasn’t it something like it took Dusty Rhodes 3 gos at Rick Flair before he finally overcame him and became champ? Might be what they’re going for… and honestly, if that’s what they’re doing, I can’t hate it.

And as much as I disliked the beat down at the time, what I did love about it was Reigns and Sikoa looking stunned for one moment, then looking at each other and Heyman, wordlessly coming to the conclusion “he’s got bigger problems than us now”, and then silently but intentionally walking away from the ring. That part was so well played.

The podcast brought up that same Dusty Flair example as with bloodline kind of being similar to the horsemen i.e. referring to Solo as the enforcer aka what Arn was in the horsemen.

What podcast was that?

And word from insiders is Raw was reworked yesterday and it definitely had Vince’s fingerprints all over it.

If you want more signs that Vince gained full power of WWE upon selling the company...

Apparently Jay White has decided against coming to WWE

The reason why Bayley wasn't with Damage Control last night (and why her name wasn't with the graphics package) is because she's walked out of the company.

Bray Wyatt was supposed to be involved with Raw last night. That didn't happen - likely by his choice.

If you want to know what was up with Seth Rollins last night - apparently they changed whatever his plans were so last minute they didn't tell him until mid-commercial break

Charlotte Flair is "taking time off" (perhaps that was scheduled post-Mania; perhaps it's because Vince is back)

Asuka is threatening to go back to Japan

Basically - whatever happened last night at Raw pissed off the talent so much that nearly everyone is reevaluating their options.

No date for the draft but should happen by end of April Early May. Thinking Smackdown to Des Moines means Iowa's Own Seth Rollins will be switching to the Blue Brand along with his SO Becky Lynch.

Also can Puerto Rico get more tv events? Both crowds at Smackdown and Backlash in PR have been off the charts.

Bad Bunny vs Priest damn. All the blasts from the past - Vega, Carlito

Backlash has been better the Mania night 2.
