Covid Variant - Pack the Jack?

They are testing positive, are any of them showing signs of being sick? I really don't know if they are getting sick or not. I'm not disagreeing with you I just haven't followed that closely.

just saw this on whotv. might give you a little more info at leat what's been happening with central iowa.

I'm not sure where that comes from, a packed stadium is outdoors but not like being spread out in a park. But I'm still planning on being there.

I feel fairly confident with being outdoors and having 40-50% people there vaccinated, that it won't be a super-spreader scenario if everything holds like it is currently. However, I imagine the restrooms will be deicer than normal to go into. The same time, the exposure time wouldn't be very long in that situation.

Iowa Regent Universities cannot require students to have the COVID-19 vaccination.

Remember when "vaccine passports" were just immunization records? I had to get a couple shots at the student health center before I got full admission.

For the last while he has been promoting "make your own choice" but pushing vaccination if you or people you are around are at risk. He still promotes alternative cures but at least he isn't anti-vax anymore.
I'm sure he's doing it because Fox is about to get sued for their conspiracy theories and complete falsehoods they've brought up over the past six month's with the vaccine. I'm sure that Hannity would be saying the opposite if Fox wasn't scared about getting sued.

Suppose like anything in life, there is usually some sort of risk. If he really wants to go and you guys decide to take him, he can wear a mask should you guys choose. My 10 year old is going to the games with me. He understands its a risk. No perfect answer, but my opinion is to pack the jack since its outdoors and most of the people there have the opportunity to be vaccinated.

No disagreements. We'll likely come to decision to not risk it, due to vulnerable members of our family, but I don't have any issue with what you said. Just that the "it's their own fault if they aren't vaxxed" rhetoric forgets about kids.

The article I read, one said she “tested positive”, the other said she was sick. I don’t know any more than that.

I do know the vaccine reduces your chances of severe illness, and—most importantly—of spreading it, and those are the parts some people seem to struggle with understanding.

I think in reality we are pretty much on the same page on this. Hopefully with the rise of the delta variant and more younger people being hospitalized the Vax rate will start to go up again. IMO it is an issue that never should have been politicalized. But unluckily that is not where we are as a country.
