don't worry about them iowa boys.i have gone thru the texas and
oklahoma all state lists and either jamie pollaed has the available recruits still not committed in okie land or texas. i took a poke at emailing coach rhoads on the iowa state email system at [email protected] and that address works . he got the same email pollard did.hope it works. i imagine coach rhoads will bring a few auburn assistants along and i hope we poach 6- 8 auburn commits away from chizzlestick on defense- i think the new coach will do alright.

Hey here is an idea... Let him do his job. He doesn't need your help.
I really hope PR shows up at your job and tells you what to do and how to do things. I hope he emails you back and say, "sure thanks for telling me something I didn't know"

At this point in time there is ZERO ZIP ZILCH NADDA NONE NO reason to be emailing him anything other than congratz. Its been 3 days. If you can find something to complain about after 3 days, Im guessing you would be unhappy with ANYTHING.
I am not saying losing recruits isn't a concern. But with that said, I work in the Quad Cities and one guy I work with goes to all the Bettendorf games. He says this kid has great size potential but has been man handled in most games by non-DI recruits. He told me he thought it was pretty telling when the Bettendorf running backs normally run to the other side of the offense.
We talked about this kid wavering this morning and it told me it wouldn't appear to be too big of a loss. He's not an Iowa fan (Notre Dame) so he can be trusted.
Still hope we get him but it doesn't appear this kid is currently a "big time" recruit.

Iowa State's new coach is basically gonna have to **** in Kyle Lichtenberg's cheerios for him not to stick with Iowa State. Id love for Iowa to get him, but he's Iowa State's to lose. He was in Iowa City on an official last weekend, while impressed with Iowa, he is still committed to the clones.
Someone said Rhoads can go into a kids house that is painted black and yellow and come out with a commit to ISU.

It's funny how people will complain, yet they don't know how to spell the coaches name. Heck he probably doesn't know how to pronounce it either.
Few things tellmac1 - first of all, McFarland is still under contract. Secondly, if the kids gonna shop, then let him shop, start recruiting his replacement and whichever makes the commit to Rhoads that will be his guy. There was a reason he committed to ISU, because EIU had already started feeding him the change to Tackle. The kid wants to play TE, not sure thats his long term position - but you convince an 18 yr old of that one.
Bofelli is not going to make or break this class!!!!! In fact, i wouldn't even consider him the top commit from Iowa for next years class. So, if he wants to leave, so be it. If we lose Bofelli but keep the rest of the class i would be okay with that, the kid will ultimately decide what opportunity is best for him. We want you to stay Bofelli, but if your heart is in Iowa City, then go for it.
