Didn't he say that all the existing players should look to transfer when he was hired?

I think it's a safe bet to say he lasts 3 years max. Either does well and moves to a more prestigious job or flames out.I thought is was 17 total and 8 since Saturday. Two that entered Sunday were proven WRs. In any case, I think this will go either really really good or really really bad for CU. On the outside it sounds like he is brining in a bunch of selfie centered, "me first" kids. That my be a tough dynamic to manage with a whole room of them. My son lives in Fort Collins and says CU fans are drinking the Kool Aid with a fire hose.
If Prime is successful, he will be leaving Boulder in a hurray for the SEC or NFL. I'm not saying he is cut out for that but his hubris will drive upward movement ASAP.
He's got the backing to bring in the players he needs to win.I think it's a safe bet to say he lasts 3 years max. Either does well and moves to a more prestigious job or flames out.
That's pretty much every coach, everywhere though.I think it's a safe bet to say he lasts 3 years max. Either does well and moves to a more prestigious job or flames out.
No, but it is sort of unusual that they all went through Spring practice and just all of the sudden jumped after the Spring Game.? Maybe Dion ran them off, idk, though it's interesting that the guy that had the best game would be run off. Just weird all the way around.I'm not a fan of Coach Prime, but losing a bunch of players from a team that has a new coach and went 1-11 last year isn't exactly earth-shattering news.
Just curious how many returning starters did Colorado have and how many transferred?
I'm not really talking about Prime's job security. Obviously, his job will be safe no matter how poor his first season's record is. I'm talking about all the optimism and excitement that has exploded around the Colorado program. He will have the first year as a honeymoon also.

Ourlads depth chart projects a WR, LT, OC, NT, SS & PR as returners projected to start. An article in the Athletic says 41 players have transferred out since he arrived (including the 17 recent ones). Don't know any breakdown of starters v others.
Problem is: will top level talent want to come to a has-been program with crappy facilities in a crappy conference whose top teams are soon leaving. He's got the backing to bring in the players he needs to win.
