He was there to watch Indianola O-Line Keegan Render as well. He's got an offer from Iowa and interest from a lot of other schools. He'll be a top recruit.

Render's sister went to Iowa State and his parents were/are ISU fans IIRC.

I wish Campos would switch his commitment to us and have Render commit. WOW!! We put players into the NFL as well and are putting serious money into our football program will continue to. Plus we have a wonderful fan base. Also Coach Rhoads........that is all.

With the Mizzery program in an apparent decline and ISU's on an obvious upward trajectory, it makes sense to stay in contact. It sounds like CPR has a good relationship with him. I remember someone mentioned on here that CPR was seen giving Jake a ride to our camp this spring in his gator. I also remember reading a story in the Register about our linebackers and the first trip CPR made as our coach was to AJ in WI. since capt. Kirk was trying to turn him from his verbal to the Good Guys. Apparently there is no understood honor code among coaches to leave a kid alone after he has made a verbal commitment so by all means go get him Coach!
