Why was he there? are we looking at someone else? I cant imagine where still recruiting Jake Campos he is a strong verbal to Mizzou!

I don't think Campos verbal is all that strong. He skipped a Mizzou camp and came to ours. I just have a feeling about this that if we have a very good season (8 wins) he may switch.

There are plenty of recruits coming out of Valley. Maybe not this year, but most. Maybe someone from the other team?

the big Indianola Jr. tackle Rinder already has an offer from Iowa so he might have been looking at him also.

He was there to watch Indianola O-Line Keegan Render as well. He's got an offer from Iowa and interest from a lot of other schools. He'll be a top recruit.

Based on the picture ive seen on rivals, he doesn't have the build we want in an Olineman, or anyone to be honest

I said a few weeks ago that this staff still believes that they've got more than a decent shot at landing him. Mizzou moving to the SEC could be a really good thing for us with respect to Campos. They are unlikely to ever legitimately compete for titles and we are going in the opposite direction. We just can't let the best, or one of the best recruits in the state leave without a fight!

I don't think CPR goes to a game on a Friday night during a bye week to watch a junior o-lineman we may or may not be recruiting.

I like him being at the game regardless of whether or not he's looking at a specific player. It's just another way to get more exposure for the program, build relationships with high school kids and coaches and help grow the ISU brand.
