Well, at least the three we have signed are pretty good recruits even if we don't get anyone else.

I keep telling you that your house is on fire, and you just give me a blank stare and say "We're grilling out on the back porch". My valuable service isn't much good if people don't act on the information.
The thing is, he's not that far off base. We're down 2 assistant coaches right now.

But the public sees it as such. I know it's hard for you to see things as an averge Joe for obvious reasons, but when someone from the outside looks in at this program, they see a team that has just lost 5 players from last year (4 of which chose to leave) and is down 2 assistant coaches.
So no Wilkins, Clark, Clyburn, or Osieniks. Looks like we whiffed on our main targets and the guys we have been recruiting for awhile.
Who's next? I assume we will hear something from Barnes shortly.... but man we need a couple of bigs.

This really sums it up. I'll be excited about whoever we have/get, because they're Cyclones, but right now, the whole thing looks ugly. If we missed on the spring targets, who were everybody's last resort, then we're moving on past our last resort guys. That doesn't look good from the outside.
We are probably recruiting more walkons to save money. that way we don't have to give out scholarships
