Another great CF myth lives on.They don't need adjustments as much as realizing they cannot take the first 30 min of the game off anymore.

Yeah, 4.5 - 5.5 seems about right.I'm guessing about 5 point underdogs.
I'd say poor defense altogether was the main reason we lost.Such as? When a team scores 30 more points from behind the arc, most of which were contested, its safe to say its the main reason we lost.

Yep. We failed to guard two shooters at three point line.Annoying how people keep blaming the loss on hot shooting. We could have and should have won that game. There were more & bigger reasons we lost that game then UNI being "hot".

Lotsa reasons but UNI being hot was probably the primary one.
UNI was shooting better than they usually do from 3, no doubt. But our defense inside the 3 point line was not as good as it needs to be.Hot shooting made our defense look worse than it was. I don't know how anyone could watch that game and not think UNI shot unuasually well from the outside. This includes several highly contested step back jumpers from Washpun who has been an average jump shooter in his career, at best.
This is what I'm talking about. Jesperson was definitely hot. I mean 7 for 9 from three is crazy good and a lot of them were tough shots. But Washpun's huge game was not just being hot. He was defended poorly.Washpun scored 28 pts with only 2 3 pointers and had 11 assists. I'd say it was more like 1a and1b.

Isn't this thread about the Cincinnati line? Couldn't tell after the 1st page..
This is basketball not football where the margins are smaller and if you don't bring it every night you will lose games that you should win...........
Just ask North Carolina and Kansas...both have already lost games they should have won.....
Simply Put UNI wanted the game more and it showed with the way they played with a "sense of urgency".......

I have a feeling this game could get ugly. They are a very physical team that plays excellent defense.

I don't think so. Their offense doesn't exactly light the world on fire, and teams that have stopped us from scoring are few and far between. We need to play solid defense and play our game on the other end. We do that, we win.
