Chris Allen?

Because we have another point guard where?

Can we stop all the point guard nonsense? If you havent realized by now that royce right is our PG then you never will. He brings the ball up 90% of the time and the offense almost always runs through him. Mcgee is a better player than allen. period.

CA played pretty darn solid in the 1st half. Lost his shot in the 2nd, but overall I'm ok with his effort today. Babb was the one that hurt us more today.

Unexpectedly good effort overall though. Loved what I saw for about 30mins of the game.

Both Allen(5-15) and Babb(0-8) tanked us, along with Ejim shooting 3-10. That could be some of the least productive starting guard/smallforward play in the big 12.

Give it up for CA. He played big time today. Did some of the usual things that drive us crazy, but I thought it was one of his best games.

Before the season, I was really excited for Allen. I legitimately thought he was a good basketball player. I work with two guys who went to Michigan State, and I talked alllll about how we got Allen.

You know what their reactions were? They just laughed and didn't give a ****. THem and a friend of mine who went to MSU told me Allen was terrible and was glad he was off their own team. I guess I didn't understand at the time.

Now I do. He has THE worst shot selection I have EVER seen, and his basketball IQ is just absolutely ******* low. He is not a team player and he can't hit **** to save his life.

This isn't the first time his selfish, stupid play has lost us the game. SO many times he has taken off balanced shots early in the clock without even making one single pass and missing it. It completely kills any sort of momentum.

He played a decent first half today, but this is a two half game, not a one half game. He ended up 2-10 from 3 point range and many of those were shots where he didn't try to do anything team related.

Cry me a river, we live and die by the three...so let's bench the two of the top 3 point shoters on our team...yes, real smart...

He had a great first 15 to 17 minutes. Biggest reason ISU had a big lead early, but at the end of the first half he went into selfish mode and never stopped.

ISU doesn't have a point guard. Royce White brings the ball up more than anyone. People need to get over this point guard crap.

OK ISU doenst have any extra guards. I think this team does better when White isnt bringing the ball up. This team struggled when SC was playing PG. It needs a PG. A PG does more than bring the ball up.

Scotty, Babb, McGee, Booker, and even Bubu are better three point shooters than Allen.

CA will drive us crazy all year. Just get used to it. Not having a PG is a very big problem...to those that can't seem to grasp that.

The point guard on a normal team is the player that brings the ball up and the teams runs through him. Royce is that guy for ISU. When Royce is not on the court, the offense does not run through anyone.

Chris Allen is not one of the two three point shooters on our team. Sorry to break it to you.

He's shooting 34.95% after this game from 3.

Coming into this game, he was 5th on the team in percentage from 3. Ejim is next on the list at like 22%, so it's pretty safe to assume Allen is still 5th.

Chris Allen is in no way at fault for today's loss. Period.

He is a huge reason. Watch the 2nd half of the game and look at how many idiotic, momentum busting shots he missed for us. It's ridiculous.

I guess on that same token we can get on our lack of rebounding on those misses too.

He isnt the only one who took bad shots.

I agree, I thought maybe he finally had figured it out, but I was wrong.

While true, he's the one on the team who most consistently takes bad shots. Tell me how many other players on our team will take a shot early in the shot clock without even being open, and not passing it OR shooting crap that's completely off balanced. Yeah, sure other players do it, but it doesn't happen much anymore except for him.

Even all my MSU friends knew EXACTLY what I was talking about early in the season when I came into work, and talked about his terrible shot selection. All they said was "YEP, exactly. Glad he's not on MSU anymore."

I could live with Allen's bad shooting if he actually shot most of his shots while squaring up to the hoop.

He reminds me of Kobe Bryant with a middle euro league skill set. Not to mention he's a senior who's played in a few Final Fours under one of the best modern day coaches out there.
