I would say the reason ISU's schedule started out the way it did is because the Big 12 is not a qualifer anymore, so they needed to get as many matches as possible.

Agree with you Cy but I am afraid that the current athletic administration has become content with the wrestling program the way it is.

What is wrong with the mighty Hawkeyes. The only true team they have wrestled this year is the Cyclones. Must be nice to basically sit out the first two months of the season. The little monkey is ducking competition! Never did this when he had two recruiting classes.
