Chiefs watch party deaths

Portugal is frankly a miracle case and I think the entire world should be implementing their policies. They have completely changed their drug addiction epidemic. Radical changes to the legal system for drug use and it has worked.
Canada seems to be trying something up there but making a mess of it, though I’m not sure why. Maybe forgot the treatment and counseling part of it, or aren’t doing that effectively.

Yes, they are one. A much more compassionate, while also strict system. Just allowing people to use is not compassionate. First, though, decision makers need to realize people aren’t homeless and mentally ill because of drug abuse. It’s more likely the opposite. The most important thing is a track for hopefulness for people and our country just doesn’t get it, at least in the legislative sense. One side vilifies and generalizes, the other think its compassionate to just allow them to be like it’s just some rough stretch when it’s a death sentence. I don’t think it’s a hard problem to solve as much as it’s expensive.

Speed ball has been the drug of extreme users choice for a while. Most of the people in the 28 club died from a speed ball. I can't really explain it's appeal but I imagine it has something to do with not being able to fill that original high you are chasing and having to go higher and higher with the stakes.
Who's in the 28 club? 27 club has a big standing. So to speak

I know the implemented a almost everything legal program but also put a strong care package with it. Has it led to decreased usage also?

Speed 8 ball is still a thing?

I just looked it up again. It looks like recently they have seen a rise in problems but for a while it was like night and day statistically after the reform.

Been awhile since I read/listened on it but I believe they decriminalized but treatment was mandatory and guided. Don’t remember numbers but very, very strong results. This is one of those thing that government HAS to do because how else would it ever be funded at the level it needs to be. Very expensive but we seem to find money for much less worthwhile causes. Hell, we’re funding most of big pharmas R&D (except safety studies of course, they do those). Maybe we move that money somewhere else and make them pay for all research, not just the stuff grossly profitable.

Sorry, I said I was t going to do that but it makes me pretty mad.

A neighbor a few miles down the road died a couple years back of exposure in weather like that. Elderly bachelor, lived alone, slipped on ice getting out of his car and hit his head. Took the funeral home four days to thaw him out for embalming.

Oregon is missing on the treatment aspect.

ER Dr. gave my wife a half dose of fentanyl a couple of weeks ago. She explained that right after they gave it to her via an IV that she could just feel her whole body go numb. They wouldn’t give her the other half even after surgery.

I had a male buddy accidentally (later found out it was intended for a girl there) get roofied (and/or something else) at a house party in off Hunt st. It was scary as hell. Why you would do that to anyone I have no idea.
This same thing happened to me back in college. Not on Hunt street but certainly not a recommended experience.

We were in the Ozarks and my Marine buddy stole a girls drink at the bar. He is a combat Vet who was in the battle of Ramadi. The drink was ruffied. He said he could hear everythig we said but could not move. Said it was the scariest thing he has every experienced in his life and he is a guy who fought in one of Iraq's bloodiest battles.

BTW I did find the girl and let her know what was going on and bought her a new drink. Very scary stuff
