I'd rather read the optimistic post as opposed to the guys that are pessimistic about everything.

Diallo will not only sign with ISU, but he will stay at ISU for 4 years, and we will win the national championship all 4 years. Then the NCAA will grant Diallo an extra year of eligibility, and he'll stay for a 5th year, where ISU will once again win the national championship. The program will be at the point that we are landing a minimum 6 MCDAA's every year, and Fred will be regarded as the best coach of all time. Fred declares that he will be the coach at Iowa State until he decides to retire in 2045. Bill Self will subsequently check himself in to an insane asylum, which is owned by Tuco.

Exactly otz is an amazing recruiter. Hopefully he can at least meet diallo once before he signs. I would like our chances a little more

I doubt he's coming here, too, but man...if he did choose us, the amount of crow that will have to be eaten by all the pessimistic know-it-alls will be EPIC! I'm still going to hold onto a small shred of hope just for the fun of it.

Those that say there is a zero percent chance Diallo plays at Iowa State are wrong, but they are very unlikely to be proven wrong. In actuality there is a low single digit percentage chance he ends up here. It would take something fairly significant changing between now and when he signs, but being in his final five and all the recruiting we have done means it is a possibility, albeit small.
