I agree. I think it's odd all the sympathy Strong seems to be getting. By all objective measures he's been terrible at Texas. This isn't Les Miles getting fired after winning a title and consistently being a top 15 team. This is a guy who couldn't put together a single winning season at Texas, who couldn't beat Kansas in his third year. He may be a good guy, but he's been a failure on the field. You can look at any number of coaches who took elite jobs (Meyer at Florida and OSU, Saban at Alabama, Carroll at USC, Harbaugh at Stanford and Michigan, Petersen at Washington), and if it's not happening by year three, it's not going to happen.

Ya, I'm sorry, just can't agree with anyone who thinks that Charlie is the victim here. Great location, great tradition, great facilities, great money, and you are the first team to lose a conference game to KU in forever, and get shut out by a 3 win ISU team? I know there were some issues there, but nothing like McCarney or Campbell inherited.
