I dont see how anyone can be 'glad' about it. He was one of the most vocal Cyclone-loyal members of our team. He was going to be very helpful. He screwed up, which is obviously nothing to be glad about, nor is the fact that he may have other issues that he needs to deal with something to be glad about.
Hope he moves forward from here, and takes care of what he needs to take care of.

With Boozer transferring and Dendy and Oliver also possibly gone, how many scholarships do we have to fill now?

Doesn't sound like a substance abuse problem.. I don't want to judge anyone elses situation, but I think I would have kept that excuse to myself.. still love him though and hope he gets his act together..basketball is secondary

1. I agree that public perception can influence law enforcement.
2. I have read studies reporting statistically significant differences in outcomes in the criminal justice system for men and women charged with similar crimes.
3. As my own political tendencies do not tend toward the elite liberal feminazi perspective (yes now I'm in trouble), I haven't spent a great deal of time perusing Ms Lemon's textbook. I will certainly agree that various people with various agendas were part of the movement seeking domestic abuse legislation. Some I can agree with, some I cannot.
4. However, even given 1-3, I am of the belief that domestic abuse laws like Iowa's are not per se defective because of 1-3. All laws and their enforcement are subject to influence from public perception and from special interest groups to one degree or another.
We can agree to disagree if need be.
I think DG should be locked up in a padded room until next season starts. He is the only player that McD recruited that has a chance of playing 4 years at ISU. I have never seen a run of players and a revolving door like McD brought to ISU.
I'll miss the 'booze'. He may not have played a lot of minutes, but he had a great attitude and played hard when he was in. Hope he gets everything sorted out.
I'd rather lock him in the practice facility so he can take the time and get even better.

Wow. Is he really the ONLY player that will have played 4 years that McD brought in? I can't think of another. If true, that really sums up the McD tenure. It was a complete revolving door which lead to no consistency or leadership.
As many as Mayor Hoiberg deems necessary.
And unless Dendy or Oliver were officially gone... I don't think they would have any effect on increasing the number.
What a *********. Glad he decided to leave. Not like he added any great value anyway. Tough guy beating up a girl, what a stud.
