It sucks but it may be just what this team needs next year to remember how tough it is. They got a lot of good publicity and attention this year with the sweet 16 trip, now they have a lot to prove next year.

Yeah. Reading today's posts have made me even madder.

I still feel like Fred has some learning to do, and this is his first year without a mentor that has been through the wars. There were a ton of missed shots today, but I thought the team was just not responding near the end of the game, and the possession when MM had to throw up a prayer as the shot clock expired was a time Fred needed to get a timeout. I know he trust the guys to get it done on the floor, but he also needs to recognize when things are not going well.

Great season, just a shame to end it with this kind of performance.

It is appalling how many so called fans even questioned this. These guys put their heart and souls into this, and we take every possession that does not go our way as "not wanting it".

There is therapeutic posting, and then there are Cyclone fans after this team loses. The viscous, vitriolic attacks on a groups of great Cyclones in the midst of the best run in our history is disgusting.

I always find the 'team x just wanted it more' to be obnoxious. Saying one team put forth more effort is reasonable, but to act like either team didn't want to win is dumb.

thats the one thing about this loss that sucks worse than 2001, you can truely tell the team liked playing together and actually gave a ****, in 2001 those guys hated playing together and just wanted it to end.
